Camera: Hasselblad 501 CM. Film: Fuji Reala.
I wanted to make something different than my other photos, it was sort of a test,,because the style had to be similar. I also wanted to make it durable, therefor I made her anonymous. What I like about this 'thing', is that it's a human and a still life at the same time. I used two flash units, the background with a grid and for the shadows on her face I used a black foamboard with cut out holes in combination with a snoot. Daily DeviationGiven 2009-04-03Memento Mori by ~EdwinJPhotography defines the creative atmosphere in dark, natural, and queer overtones. I was really blown away by this photograph, rarely seeing such minimum light mixed with strong features and keeping my eyes open for all of it. Take the time and dive into this photograph.
